ultimately produce they will also want to be included on my list of contacts. ANDERSON Don, BATTY Brian, BROWNE Michael, BUTLER Ken, CAMPBELL Barry, CUNNINGHAM Brian, DAVEY Mal, DAY Graeme, DEAN Dave, DEVERY Michael, DONOVAN Kevin, EDWARDS Jim, EVANS Nigel, FORD Peter, FREW Shane, GIBBONS Pat, HALL Ron, HEPPLE Alan. I hope some of you will be able to help me make contact with these blokes so I can tell them about the site and ask them if they would like to be included on the contact list. Thanks again for all the assistance that has been offered to date. The number of photos in the gallery now exceeds 1000. If you search a surname it will display every photo in the gallery in which I have been able to identify that person. If you search “?” it will display a heap of photos that includes at least one person I have been unable to identify. Your assistance in putting a name to the faces would be a great help. Please let me know if you find any errors on the site. Each photo in the gallery can be enlarged twice with the first enlargement including the names of the blokes in the photo. As it is still a work in progress the photos in each section are not in any order. Down the track I will place the photos into some sort of sequence. A search of the surnames Cunningham, Edwards, Evans, Johnston or Lynch will display photos of both Brian & Bruce, Francis & Jim, Morrie & Nigel, Alan &Fred and Bob& Dave. This will also be corrected. These days I enjoy my trip to the mail box because I might receive yet another disc or a batch of photos and or slides. Thanks again for all your input to date. I hope the photos and slides keep rolling in. When the site is as comprehensive as I can make it, the content will be published as a book. Don't panic because in this age of computers such a book can be produced for a very reasonable price. While the information may always be available on the World Wide Web for everyone to see, the idea of holding a book appeals to me. Perhaps it's a sign of my age but I suspect holding such a book may even enhance the feeling of a personal connection with it's content. I also like to think that if our kids are ever asked by their grandkids etc for stories about our past it will form part of any such discussion and will help them talk about that period of our lives. Perhaps when our days are done, it will be something they may choose to hold close to their heart as they remember the past or it may even become an object that is passed down from one generation to the next. I might be a bit of a dreamer, but what the heck such a dream can't do any harm. I hope you all have a very Happy and Merry festive season. Hello All, we are back from our 10 weeks in sunny, warm Exmouth to cold and wet Perth. It was a very windy trip this year and certainly not as hot as other years although we're both as brown as berries but I guess that won't last long. The water temp was a couple of degrees colder than normal which resulted in the fish being smaller overall and not the variety as previous. Theresa has been very good and joined the local gym which resulted in her losing a few kilos so she is feeling pretty proud of herself. I'm still in superb nick so didn't waste any time at the gym but attended all the happy hours!!
