life before and after his service in the Army. We will pay a special tribute to them both in the book as well as an outline of the experience of the Officer and NCO cadre. Ros has sent me 4 photographs but she does not have a copy of the photograph of Michael in his full patrol gear that is in the frame next to his medals in your museum. Ros told me this photograph was her favourite one and Graeme Allen a FOO Sig who worked with Michael in C Company 7RAR has expressed to us he would like this photograph in the 106 book if possible. So in short Paddy can we ask you to have two copies of the photograph made and one sent to Ros Williams and one to us so that we can include it in the book. John Godfrey is getting on with the book and has 23 pages of photographs laid out so far and he has had quotes for printing. The book will be produced at cost and many 106 veterans have already donated funds to defray the cost for its printing. Regards from Ben Burrow and John Godfrey. Ph: 03 5735 6382 From Arthur Ventham (Re our donation towards a car for Bill Ritchie ) Peter, Please find attached receipt as requested. An update as follows: Unfortunately Bill Ritchie's condition has deteriorated somewhat and to make matters worse his wife Michelle broke her femur a couple of days ago and is currently in Joondalup Hospital where she will be for a few more weeks. As a result Bill has had to be put into a respite centre at Quinns Rocks (Anchorage) until Michelle is out and about once more. With respect to the vehicle, we expect it to be delivered this week sometime and one of our staff will look after it until both Michelle and Bill are home. It will be used to take Bill from his location to Joondalup hospital on a daily basis to see his wife.
