4 Field Regiment (SVN) 'Old Boys' Newsletter - November 2015 Edition

We had a bit of luck in that after much discussion with DVA they finally agreed to provide a vehicle to Bill under the VEA Act and an order was placed with VW in Adelaide to provide one and this is expected to be delivered this week. The money that we raised, a total of $3900.00 will be given to Bill and Michelle in the form of ongoing insurance for the vehicle, fuel and any maintenance costs not given under warranty. This amount should provide enough fuel and insurance for 2 years with a bit of luck. Please pass on to all of your members our sincere thanks for the donation. There is no requirement for members to apply via an organisation, instead it is preferred that members apply individually. This is so that a full assessment can be completed. Kens funeral was held at Castle Hill on the 6 th of November. Ken had not been well for some time. He was a regular attendee at ANZAC Day services in Sydney.
