Partners and family are more than welcome to attend both functions but please advise me of numbers attending If you do plan on attending would you please let me know ASAP as PJ needs to confirm numbers with our venue. Once this is done, full details will be forwarded to everyone. On ANZAC Day there are shuttle buses ferrying people from the shrine back to the rear of Fed Square on a regular interval. Traffic closures in the city on ANZAC Day have increased markedly in recent years. Accommodation : For those experienced with booking accommodation on line, there is a myriad of accommodation available in the Melbourne area. PJ Smith’s advice is to stay in the City, as that will give you access to so many facilities. I use Hotels.com a lot or trivago.com.au but just search for accommodation in Melbourne and follow your nose. For those who perhaps do not use on line bookings, Syd and Sue Farrow have suggested the following:  Seasons Botanic Gardens at 348 St Kilda Road. Prices range from 129.00 to 649.00 per night. Telephone 03 9685 8000.  The Hotel Charsfield, 478 St Kilda Road. Prices range from $129.00 to 499.00. Telephone 03 9866 5511. Both of these are very handy to the Shrine, but may not be near our functions. The AFL fixture for the games in Melbourne over the ANZAC weekend is: Friday 22 April Hawthorn vs Adelaide Crows (MCG) (Night) Saturday 23 April Western Bulldogs vs Brisbane Lions (Etihad Stadium) (Night) Sunday 24 April St Kilda vs GWS Giants (Eitihad Stadiium) Melbourne vs Richmond (MCG) (Night) Monday 25 April
