Thank you for being involved and helping us to document some of the extraordinary experiences of the men who served with the Australian Army Training Team Vietnam and their counterparts in the South Vietnamese and US Forces. I took a call from Les’s youngest son Brian and here is his follow up email. If anyone can help please contact me in the first instance. Les was posted to 105 Battery in SVN from 14/09/65 to 5/06/66 and then with 1 st Field Regiment until 08/09/1966. He returned to SVN with 1 st Field Regiment on 25/02/1969 and RTA on11/03/1970. I have forwarded his request to 105 Field Battery Association as well. Peter following our talk on Saturday. I am les’s youngest son and am chasing photos of dad in Vietnam in the 70’s. His full name is Lesleigh David Henderson. # 14403 he left Australia as a bombardier with the first tour for 4 field regiment in 1965 served 6 months, came home for about a month then returned for another 6 months, then returned in 1969. Any photos of him in uniform would be appreciated.
