4 Field Regiment (SVN) 'Old Boys' Newsletter - April 2019 Edition

Gooday Peter. We had briefly discussed the possibility of spending ANZAC Day at Laurieton. I need to let you know that it’s not going to work for us this year as we’ll be right in the midst of planning for our caravan trip away. We’ll be away from early May through December and it's only recently become apparent that we’ll need more time than I’d originally planned to get everything organised. I apologise for my absence, but I’m sure you’ll have a great day in any event. Hope we’ll be able to catch up at some time - but it seems it won’t be this year! Best wishes to you and Susie. David MUFTI Article on PJ Smith Mufti, the official magazine of RSL Victoria did a very good article on PJ Smith. For those who haven’t caught up with PJ for a while, it gives you an insight into what he is doing these days. When not on RSL duties, PJ dabbles in photography, plays a little golf and enjoys sampling various types and vintages of fine wine. He is also a long-time support of the mighty North Melbourne “Kangas” and predicts “this could be a big year for us”.
