4 Field Regiment (SVN) 'Old Boys' Newsletter - December 2021 Edition
Ben Burrow sent me this photo of John Wilson at the Mike Williams MM Club at 4th Regiment. (This is where our table will go if we give the go ahead to have it made) From Bob White Hi Peter, Thanks for the latest news. Unfortunately, no photos came out. We held our Vets Day inside our RSL Sub-Branch, but I suppose with your restrictions you would not be able to have a sizeable gathering. Crazy times in the world at the moment. I was promoted to Great grandfather on Tuesday with my granddaughter providing the world with a healthy boy. Cheers to everyone especially Swifty. Bob White From Denis Pfundt. Thanks for the news Peter. On my last (and most likely final) lap of the big island I called in and visited Coops in WA. And caught up with Ron Fritchley and his wife Cheryl? In Broome. Always make Renmark my first stop to stay with Mark Hueppauff. Have sold my old motorhome because of al the Covid hiccups, so guess it’s fly or stay home in future. Hope you and yours are all in good health From Barry Ward Hi Peter. I became a member of 4 Field around 1968. I did the tour of Vietnam 69/70 same as old mate Brian Swift. It’s sad to see so many of the members that are no longer with us. I live in Toowoomba and have yet to make it to a reunion. There seems to be no Artillery members in this part of the downs. I do have some photos of the Regt. Like this one of some of the drivers. Mate you could request a National ISBN number this issue could be mistaken for a book, Well done. Not to be out done by Hilton Lenard’s last Ram Newsletter 50 plus pages. (Ed. Thanks Wardie. I think the photo shows Bruiser Bain on the left and Kev Nash and could be Peter McDonald?)
