Mick and Lance’s wives took them home early by the ear. The rest of us soldiered on at the Story Bridge Hotel and got maggotted. A very interesting thing happened at the pub. Every time we went up to the bar to buy a drink there were young people came up to us and saying “thank you for your service , put your money away , we are buying ” It was great to see the young people showing respect.
