Seizing the Opportunity of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide You will no doubt all be aware that CA recently wrote to the Army on his approach to the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide (RCDVS). He would now like to extend that message to the ex-serving community. All Heads of Regiment/Corps have therefore been asked to write to their respective associations and organisations, thereby facilitating the publication of CA's letter in Association newsletters, or the onward transmission of it via email distribution lists etc. I simply wish to reiterate that Army must do more, and we will. The Army family encompasses not just those in uniform, but those who have previously served and also all our loved ones. Please find attached a copy of CA's letter for your necessary action. The findings of the RCDVS are due for publication in mid-September. As such, the promulgation of this message is well-timed.
