The top picture is a pontoon vehicle bridge with yours truly on it.
The bottom one is pushing off from the bank to cross the Hawkesbury river and it’s Echo
gun and our Studebaker truck with Eddie Keane on the left side and me on the right.
The bloke up front is an engineer officer playing coxswain. Note the ‘Safety Boat’ in the
background.
